This week we had transfer calls! Sister McClellan is leaving... and I'll be training!!! I would say it was a surprise... but it wasn't! Sister McClellan has felt like this would be her last transfer here for a while, and during conference the spirit strongly told me that I would training soon. So here it is! Our revelation unfolding! We're so excited to start new adventures... but we're also really sad to leave each other! The beauty of missions, though, is that we KNOW wherever we are going the Lord is on our side (: It's like that in real life, too. Just even more present on a mission.
One thing I have really come to know while serving is how much the Lord loves everyone of us, and how much He loves it when we love each other. There are always things which will get on your nerves about those you love, but when you finally accept them and move forward in love... that's when you can truly see the beauty on this earth! Imperfections are what makes this life perfect! (: I LOVE this quote from an old General Relief Society President, "Perfect people don't need a Savior."
I know I need a Savior... which must mean I'm not perfect. But I'll keep trying (:

2nd email:
So basically everyone and their dog has a dog down here... but this dog knows tricks!! (:
(wendy) I don't know how to download, but karly sent a video of this large dog jumping up into her arms.  I will keep working on it.  :)  This letter was so tender, I love my baby girl.  I am so proud of her and I miss her so much.

I told Karly about our trip to Lehman cave. This is her response.

Sounds like things are going well! I'm glad! This week was super fun!! We had TONS of rain and thunder and lightning! (: IT was AWESOME!!! I really do miss the snow, though. Yesterday was a pretty fun adventure! haha. Sister McClellan was telling me that she felt some pain on the right side of her stomach... and so long story short I forced her to go to the hospital to get it checked out. They don't think it's appendicitis, but it possibly is. So we'll be going back in if her pain gets worse today. I had a really neat experience while I was in the waiting room, though! There were two other people out there and one of them started asking me a bunch of different questions about the church! So I gave them mormon.org cards... and I'm pretty sure the other lady is going to give the missionaries a call! She's moving soon, but only to Texas. We have missionaries there, too (;
Last Sunday one of the missionaries in our mission had his sister pass away. So we've been praying crazy for him and his family. He is still such a solid missionary, though! He hasn't let it phase the work. I definitely admire him and I have learned a lot from him. He definitely has some of the characters of Christ.
Nothing else out of the ordinary has happened... Sister McClellan and I are just happy and working hard (:

The day I flooded her with 6 emails. Here were Karly's responses.

Thanks for everything-  the packages, and just being there for me (: I can only read emails on Monday, so I can't reply any sooner. We only have 2 hours on Monday to be on the computer.

Wow! Things seem to be going good overall! (: I'm way happy for everyone! It's cool that the tulips are out, those are my favorite flowers! (: Not a lot of people plant them here since they have to replant them every year.
This week was fun. Sister McClellan and I had lots of plans fall through, but it helped us to see what we wanted to do with the rest of our week! I have loved working hard and just enjoying the simple things in life. Nothing too out of the ordinary happened, I'm just SUPER excited for next months Ensign to come so I can study the conference talks(: It's crazy to think that this week I will have been out for 7 months! Time flies when you're on the Lord's side (:

This week there were so many miracles... I don't know where to begin!
First: I got multiple pieces of mail and packages this week! Which is a first! It was pretty fun (: The Paul boys sent me a ton of pictures they drew which I put up by my desk to admire. Rowan made me a poster of everything from the Heavens down to the water under the dirt! (: It was so great to hear from them and see how grown up they've gotten!!
The other miracle... we got a microwave!!! (: Ours had broken a couple of weeks ago, and we finally were able to get it replaced! It's SO nice to be able to reheat left overs again (:
General Conference was ABSOLUTELY amazing. My favorite session was Sunday Morning, but I was deeply interested in all four sessions(: What a blessing it is to know that Families are central to the Plan, and part of that Family is our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Like always, there is so much more to be said about the week.. but when it comes down to it.. it suffices me to say that I'm happy and all is well! (: You don't have to know the details to know how you feel. The spirit is there if it's true, and there's no questioning Him (:
Peace and Blessings!

See the geen beads in picture #2?  Laurisa Paul's boy gave it to Karly before she left.  She promised she would keep it with her her whole missoin.  And she sure it.
