Best Week Ever!

The weeks just keep getting better and better!!! Our trio is awesome! I'm companions with someone that I've loved and adored my whole mission, and now I get to spend every waking moment with her!!! (: Sister Miller is easily one of my favorite sisters in the mission!! And I know y'all will love her, too, since she steals my camera and takes pictures.... (: haha. So I have a whole bunch! She is from Lubbuck Texas and is a convert... and she's super cool! I love her!

This week we were able to have so many miracles, it was amazing! I'm super grateful for the spirit and being able to learn and grow with the different companions I have (: There's a lot of work to do, and we're all ready and willing to go out and do it!!
The ward had an awesome activity with making cardboard boats! (: So that was super fun! I love it here. So much.

Have a super week!
Also, could you possibly send me either via email or by mail a picture of me when I was Fiona's age? i want to show everyone how much we look alike (: haha.

Loads of love!

eye exam on a mission

I would let you buy my new contacts..... except for apparently my prescription DIDN'T change.... so I still have like 6 boxes of contacts that will last me past my mission. I'll still send the RX and stuff, though. I had plenty of money. They still forced me to pay for some contacts (psshh, whatevv. Church is still true.) So the total was 105. But that's not really that bad in the long scheme of things. I went to Walmart.

So! The good stuff!! I'M STAYING!!!! AND SISTER STRADINGER IS TOO..... AND WE'RE GETTING ANOTHER SISTER WITH US!!!!! (: (: I'm SUPER excited!! The trio life again in Fort Walton! It will be THE BEST!!!! (:
This last week we found an AWESOME family! It's a part-member family and the kids are just SO SWEET. I seriously think they are probably the most well behaved 15 year olds I know. And they want to learn more about the gospel!!! That rarely happens!! haha (: So we're super excited to teach them! And we're SO grateful both of us are staying, because we connected really well with their mom- who has kind of hindered the missionaries coming over in the past.

There are just a bunch of small miracles constantly happening in Fort Walton (: I'm super excited to be able to spend my birthday here AND TO SEE THREE BABIES be born! There are so many pregnant women in the ward, it is so fun to see how they spiritually prepare themselves to be mothers (:

I've now been out for 10 months! SO weird! it seems like I should still be one of the younger missionaries, but not so. I'll be going home the last week of March/first day of April possibly. And I have no idea what I'll do when I go back. So we'll see (: haha. Luckily, I can just focus on the now as a missionary. I know the Lord will help me figure out the rest later.
Also.. the elders left their bikes outside of the church... so we put the bikes "away" for them (:
OH yeah. And Sister Stratton (one of my former companions in Niceville) Is serving in Fort Walton 2nd ward now (: So it has been a blast serving around her again!

The weeks are going by faster and faster! I can't believe that it's July! We find out about transfers next week, so don't send any packages until AFTER next week (:

This week we had an awesome Zone training where the spirit was felt a lot! There were a lot of crazy days that we felt like not much was accomplished, but in the end... it all worked out (: We followed the spirit, so we know we did what we were supposed to do. The super cute old lady we're working with didn't come to church yesterday, after we HARD CORE COMMITTED her. So this week I'm going to lovingly tell her off (: hah I'm excited! She likes it when we're blunt, and I don't think anyone has been that way before with her. So obviously my "blunt" isn't as harsh as your average person's, but I think she'll get the point.

Yesterday before church I was able to realize how SMALL this world really is. There was a family of visitor's from Oklahoma... and it turned out to be Hunter Montgomery's family! (: It was really sweet because they had all these super good things to say about you, Mom. So it made me a little homesick... but then I focused again during sacrament. ha(:

Life's good!!

P.S> as far as my sizing goes for garments, I really have no idea and I keep forgetting to measure. I wear a 26 P/ 28 P for drilux... but they re-did the sizing, so I'm not sure what that would be now.. So yeah. if you can figure that out... that'd be awesome (:

Here we go again!

This week was amazing! Sis Stradinger and I just hit the roads and did TONS OF finding and TEACHING!!! We taught a total of 17 lessons this week (: It felt amazing! At the end of the week we didn't have any investigators show up to church..... BUT ALMOST ALL OF THE Recent Converts and Less-Active members we are working with did come!! It was SO AWESOME. I seriously was so happy (: Christy, Stephanie, Sarah & Virgil, Bill, and quite a few others showed up. It just made me so happy to see them put church as a priority in their life, especially because the Sabbath day is SO important. I noticed it a little bit back home, but while being on my mission I've noticed the WORLD of a difference it makes in peoples lives. Go to church!!!! Keep the Sabbath day holy!!! Receive BLESSINGS!!!!!!!!!!

Cool experiences about following the spirit:
Tuesday- walking back from church to our apartment and we walk past a family and say hi... and keep walking...... and then as we turn around the block I couldn't help but feel like we needed to go back and talk to them. So we did! And we were able to teach them (: We'll be seeing them again this week, and I'm SO excited to help them know that they can have an ETERNAL family!

Friday- Walking around before we went to a lesson with a guy named John, and we walk past someone sitting on their porch. We say hi, and then just keep going.. then the spirit kicks in again telling me to turn around. So I tell Sis Stradinger we need to talk to her, and she says "Which one?" (I didn't realize there was another lady across the street sitting on her porch too... haha.) I don't even answer her, I just start walking towards the lady I saw. Her name is Beverly! She's super cool, a widow and just trying to get things put together in her life. She told us that she had just come out because she was trying to ask God what she should do. So naturally we show up! (: We gave her a book of mormon, and her friend who was in the house opened the window and asked us if we were the Jehovah Witnesses and then saw we were mormons and she started asking us for all of the pamphlets because she LOVES them. She had investigated the church in North Dakota!! So now we're able to help Keesha and Beverly come closer to Christ! and It's super exciting (: haha. I was so grateful that I listened to the spirit instead of to my carnal thoughts. Even if things are awkward, as soon as the spirit is present you can't but help feel God's love! (:

I am so very grateful to be on a mission... and to LOVE IT most days. (: I love it here in Fort Walton!
I saw a turtle the other day!!! (: And here's the picture of my "mini me", Fiona. And Connecticut FINALLY made it around to the Uhaul.
